The Pre-Service Teacher Education Programme functioning under the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is the only fully operational wing of the DIET in the Union Territory.
DIET, Garacharma is responsible for the professional development of prospective teachers. It offers rigorous training programs aligned with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) standards.
