🎓 Admission to D.El.Ed Course

📑 Criteria of Admission

Candidates seeking admission to the D.El.Ed. course must have passed +2 level from a recognized Senior Secondary Board or equivalent board with at least 50% marks (in theory). ST candidates are given a 5% relaxation.

The candidates must have at least three primary school subjects at senior secondary level with the following groups:

• Language Group: Hindi, English, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu. English is included as one of the compulsory subjects out of the two languages while preparing the merit list. (Maximum two)
• Environmental Group: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Accountancy, Computer Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Business Studies. (Maximum four)
• Skill-Based Group: Physical Education, Fine Arts, Music, Typing, Stenography, Agriculture, Home Science, IT Application, Office Practice, Secretarial Practices, and other vocational subjects. (Maximum one)

Admission is based on merit in the best five subjects.
